About the Pakenham Show
The Pakenham and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society has a proud tradition in promoting the local industries and community activities.
The Show Society was originally formed in 1911 by a small group of farmers wishing to display their Horticultural and Agricultural achievements. Although there was a period when the Show was not able to be conducted due to wars etc., they have managed to stage a show most of the past 100 years. There are still to this day many ancestors of the original committee still residing in the area, and in some cases further generations are still on the existing Committee.
